This very timely story is told in alternating perspectives from Rashad and Quinn. Rashad is a black boy who was brutally beaten for a crime he didn’t commit. Quinn is a white boy who witnessed the beating. From there we follow Rashad’s healing process and his strife over why this incident happened and what it means on a larger scale. Meanwhile Quinn is trying to reconcile what he saw, particularly because he has a personal relationship with the accused officer. Who was in the wrong? And who or what can make it right?
