Harvest Your Reading Challenge on Beanstack!

Participate in the Harvest Your Reading Challenge this fall at WNPL!

Just like farmers gather their crops, let’s gather our literary treasures. From Hispanic authors to books about libraries, there’s a harvest of stories waiting to be discovered.

The Harvest Your Reading Challenge runs from Mon., September 9 – Mon., Oct. 21 on the Beanstack app and is open to all ages! To complete the challenge, readers must complete six out of ten available activities.

Options for badges include:

  • In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, read a book by a Hispanic author.
  • In honor of Banned Book Week, read a book that has been banned.
  • Read a book with “Fall” in the title.
  • In honor of library card sign-up month, read a book about libraries.
  • Read a book about Indigenous Peoples’ Day (October 14).
  • Read a book with a “pumpkin” on the cover.
  • Read a book with a “moon” on the cover.
  • Read in a cozy place.
  • Read by a bonfire or fireplace.
  • Read a book with the color orange on the cover.

How to Access Beanstack
Download the Beanstack app on your mobile device or access it online from our WNPL website. This will allow you to create an account, add readers, update completed activities, track your reading and more.

Reward
At completion, all participants receive a goody bag with various items. Prizes must be claimed no later than November 1.
