Congratulations to the students and staff of St. Patrick School in Wadsworth in reading to win WNPL’s summer reading program trophy! St. Patrick School had the largest percentage of students who signed up for and finished WNPL’s summer reading programs this summer. Principal Mary Vitulli accepted the trophy from Executive Director Ryan Livergood and School Liaison Jane Friess at a recent student assembly. Friess expressed, “Congratulations to St. Patrick School! They edged out 11 other schools in a tight race.”
Sheri Jones, Librarian and Curator of the Idea Lab at St. Patrick School, also beamed with pride on behalf of the students’ reading achievements. The custom designed trophy will reside at St. Patrick School until next summer, when WNPL’s summer reading programs return! Congrats to all!
